Queen visits the Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital
Her Majesty Queen ‘Masenate Mohato Sieeso of Lesotho and a government delegation celebrated the joy of birth with mothers at Queen ‘Mamohato Memorial Hospital in Maseru. Their visit formed part of His Majesty King Letsie III’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Min. Pinki Manemolela, Minister of Health; Dr Karen Prins, Operations Director of Queen 'Mamohato Memorial Hospital; and Her Majesty Queen 'Masenate Mohato Sieeso lead the delegation touring the hospital.
Her Majesty and the government delegation visited the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, nursery and Kangaroo care unit, where the Queen engaged with mothers and handed out gifts to mothers of babies born on His Majesty's birthday, 17 July.
