Netcare Medicross has been awarded the Best Medical Facility for 2022 in the Best of Ekurhuleni Readers’ Choice Awards, which is described as one of the most meaningful competitions in the City of Ekurhuleni.
Commenting on the award, Salome Liebenberg, Netcare Medicross’s general manager of operations, thanked the community for its enduring support.
“Healthcare impacts people’s lives in a much more profound manner than many other sectors within the service industry. We are humbled and honoured that the readers of the communities of Bedfordview, Edenvale, Greenstone, Benoni, Boksburg, Brakpan, Germiston, Katlehong, Vosloorus, Thokosa, Kempton Park and Springs, voted Medicross as their medical facility of choice,” says Liebenberg.
“During the recent awards ceremony, it was revealed that over 75% of the readers who voted in the awards are living with a chronic disease. In thanking the community of Ekurhuleni for their support, Liebenberg noted that being awarded top honours represents a vote of confidence from the community in the quality of care Netcare Medicross provides to patients, and an acknowledgement of the skill and dedication of the doctors, dentists and support staff who are an intrinsic part of the Netcare Medicross brand.

According to Liebenberg, the provision of quality care, convenience and accessibility for families to receive medical, dental, and allied healthcare services such as x-rays, pharmacy services, physiotherapy and audiology, among others, all under a single roof is the recipe behind the success of Netcare Medicross.
