After a seven-month-long renovation, the brand new pharmacy at Netcare Linksfield Hospital now offers one-stop convenience to residents of Linksfield and the surrounding areas, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The new, enlarged pharmacy is conveniently located in the hospital’s reception area, just off the main entrance.

“We have completely redesigned the pharmacy; it is not only much bigger but also more visually appealing and streamlined,” says Louis van der Hoven, general manager of Netcare Linksfield and Netcare Linkwood hospitals.

“We are excited that our new pharmacy will make it possible for us to serve customers even better than before. The pharmacy front shop is now operated by Clicks, which means that customers can choose from a wide range of products while they have their medication scripts filled at the dispensary. With six dispensing counters compared to three in the past, customers can expect speedier service. The pharmacy also offers a free chronic medication delivery service to customers in close surrounding areas,” says Van der Hoven.

The new pharmacy is also within easy reach for patients visiting doctor consulting rooms, the Netcare Stork’s Nest clinic or the National Renal Care unit,” says pharmacy manager, Denise Verweerd.

“We look forward to providing the community of Linksfield and surrounding areas with a professional, friendly service. Our pharmacists are on hand to provide them with professional advice on any medication aspects. The Netcare Linksfield Pharmacy is sure to be an asset to the people who live and work in the vicinity,” concludes Verweerd.
