About the procedure
A hysteroscopy is a procedure used to examine the inside of the womb (uterus) to find and possibly treat the cause of abnormal vaginal bleeding, problems falling pregnant, or miscarriage. The surgery is a day procedure, so you don’t have to stay in hospital overnight.
