Netcare Suppliers
Value adding suppliers and supplier relationships are key contributors to the success of Netcare. Consequently, we have set the highest standards for adopting new suppliers. Netcare may also, at its discretion, elect to invite new suppliers to participate in the adoption process. We subscribe to transparency and integrity in our engagement with suppliers and accordingly expect the same from them.
All potential Netcare suppliers are required to complete an accreditation questionnaire. Successful suppliers will then be guided through the remaining adoption steps towards becoming an approved supplier.
There are many benefits associated with being an approved Netcare supplier, including access to the numerous Netcare subsidiaries and other networks. Suppliers who have a good performance track record are well supported within the Netcare Group.
Netcare has appointed Zycus as a partner to transform its source-to-contract landscape with
supplier sourcing and management solutions. Zycus is the pioneer in cognitive procurement
software and has been a trusted partner of choice for large global enterprises for two decades.
Zycus has been consistently recognised by Gartner, Forrester, and other analysts for its sourceto-
pay integrated suite.
Netcare has selected the following Zycus tools:
- Zycus iSupplier, an easy to use, end-to-end, supplier network management portal, enhancing the supplier onboarding experience and supporting a singular digitised repository, ensuring compliance across the entire supplier base for both prospective and approved vendors.
- Zycus iSource facilitates sourcing automation, digitising all sourcing events, for example request for quote, request for proposal, and request for tender.
- Zycus iContract improves cycle times for conclusion of contracts, reducing manual effort and enabling a digitised contract repository.
- Zycus iRisk will provide Netcare with a 360-degree supplier risk and performance management tool across its entire supplier base.
- Zycus iAnalyze, an analytical tool that helps provide Netcare with an easy to use reporting view to maximise savings opportunities.
Phase 1
iSupplier and iSource will be taken live, commencing at the beginning of April 2024
and continuing into the first half of May 2024.
There will be no cost to any supplier (both onboarded or prospective) to interact with Netcare
through Zycus. No system integration is needed as Zycus is a web based platform.
It is important to distinguish that the Zycus project has been implemented to address the manual
processes in the Netcare Procurement environment. Procure-to-pay will remain with our current
providers, Orderwise/OrderCo and SAP.
Netcare Procurement will engage suppliers during April and May to attend training sessions. Due to
the vast number of suppliers on our database, we will be following a phased approach to onboard
suppliers ’live on the platform’. If you are a current and active vendor to Netcare, and should you
have not received any direct communication from Netcare by
Wednesday, 15 May 2024 regarding
the Zycus onboarding process, please contact
[email protected]. In addition, Netcare
will also be updating the supplier section on our website with more information as our project
progresses.
